My name is Carly, nineteen, female. I'm currently a freshman in college living in Oregon. I hope to write comic books when I grow up, and I love creating my own superheroes. I also love Avatar: The Last Airbender, as you can see. I love getting into my favorite fictional characters' minds and analyzing them, and Avatar is perfect for that. Then I get ideas for fanfiction that take me forever to finish. And I'm working on my photoshop skillz, too. A few of my favorite books are Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, and Ellen Foster by Kaye Gibbons.
Outside of fandom, I love philosophy, feminism, anthropology, psychology, mythology, spirituality, politics, new age, instrumental, and folk music, marching band, ancient history, and stuff like that. And watching my cat do cat stuff. He's just so facinating with his...catness. I get stress easily. I have ADD, OCD, PTSD, anxiety, various phobias, and a whole mess of other issues. I suppose I should also mention that I'm a sexual assault survivor, and that comes up every now and then in my journal entries.
